M.V. Rajesh has officially taken on the role of Director at the Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), a key entity within the Higher Education Department.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Rajesh served as the principal at the College of Engineering, Poonjar. He is an alumnus of IHRD’s Government Model Engineering College located in Thrikkakara, and he possesses a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering, an M.Tech from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, and a Ph.D. from the Cochin University of Science and Technology. His extensive experience includes over three decades in teaching and academic administration across IHRD institutions, as noted in a recent official announcement.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rajesh has held several significant positions in various professional organizations, including the IEEE Kochi subsection, IETE Kochi centre, and the Computer Society of India. He has also been active as the student coordinator for the Computer Society of India in Kerala.
In addition to his administrative roles, Dr. Rajesh currently chairs the Strategic Initiative on Academic Engagement for the IEEE Kerala section. He also serves as the chief editor of the International Journal of Science, Technology and Innovation and provides advisory support to the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
