Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) Return

In a positive turn of events, foreign portfolio investors made a noteworthy return to the Indian equity market in July, investing Rs 20,200 crore after four months of consistent outflows. Analysts attribute this resurgence to attractive stock valuations, robust corporate earnings, stability of the Indian rupee, and an upbeat global sentiment. Additionally, FPIs have also made significant contributions to India’s debt market, although they are still classified as net sellers in the year overall.
